Typically I would require a much heavier piece of equipment when I am climbing such a large tree, but this tree has been cut back conservatively every year and the branches that are now at the top are rather small. I am planning on climbing a rather impressive large tree and I think that the only piece of equipment, beside my safety equipment will be my Silky Pole Saw. I really like jobs like this where I can travel lightly to the top of a gorgeous tree and do minimally scaling back. I get a great view and a great paycheck for little work.
