I have a neighbor who likes to tackle every home improvement and maintenance project by himself. He insists upon doing it all. He will not hire anyone to help him out. The other day, I found him on his driveway performing asphalt sealcoating. I asked him how he was able to obtain contractor grade materials to do the job. He look surprised and told me that he was not using that grade of materials. He was using what he had picked up at the local home improvement warehouse. I did not tell him this, but I think a higher quality job could be executed by a professional.
