When I was in cooking school, I learned some amazing things. For example, I never knew that Germany was famous for manufacturing high-quality chefs knives. Messermeister, Henckels, and Viking knives all come from German companies, and are all considered to be the best of the best in professional cooking knives. Although I never finished school, I learned something new about the country my ancestors come from, and a few great cooking techniques that my family still benefits from. Oh, and of course all of the professional cooking equipment I had to buy for my classes, including a set of those amazing (and expensive) German knives.
