Waivers for Veterans Insurance
Home August 28th. 2009, 2:31amAs a veteran, you are entitled to receive support necessary to make a stable transition back into the civilian way of life. It is undoubtedly a difficult transition, especially if you have been injured as a result of serving your country. VGLI has been made available to these veterans so their families can rest assured, knowing they will be provided for should anything happen to their soldier. Any veteran who has been disabled under the age of 65, is eligible to have their premium waived. Under the S-DVI, any veteran who has disabilities that came from being an active service member, is eligible for disabled veterans insurance. Policies for disabled veterans have a maximum amount of $10,000 coverage.
