Breast Augmentation and Mammograms
Health May 26th. 2009, 5:34amOne of my friends is thinking about having breast augmentation in New York. The only thing that’s keeping her is one of the possible risks: failure to read mammography exams. She’s very concerned because cancer runs in her family. She lost two loved ones from breast cancer in the last five years. She’s scared that, if she gets breast implants, the implants might hinder the readings or results of mammography exams, which she takes regularly. I don’t know much about breast augmentation. I guess it’s best if she spoke with her breast surgeon as well as a well-trained radiologist about her concern.
