We stayed at the Hotel Lanai for a week and a half this past March during the winter season. The information brochure on Portland said we could get through the exhibit in an hour. But we ended up getting “stuck” in the science gallery for hours. My 9 year old daughter just loved the strength testing gizmo and all she wanted to do was test her strength by lifting a 150 pound elephant on a giant pulley. My 7 year old had great fun with building a dam. He also loved the air pressure games where you shoot balls across the room. We all had great fun dancing our socks off in the virtual orchestra. All in all this is well worth a few hours and the kids will remember it for a long time.
