Growing up with a father that was constantly getting transferred for his job presented many challenges and also many opportunities. Switching schools every year would certainly qualify as a challenge! But, some of my greatest memories as a child come from exploring the different places that we lived while growing up. Mom & dad would take us hiking and camping in the Smokey Mountains or in New Hampshire or in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. One of my best memories though was living in Oregon and going to Crater Lake for the first time. The lake is stunning for anyone the first time they see it, but even more so for a 10 year old. A short while back, a friend of mine was telling me how their company’s management team had decided it was time to implement team building weekends.
