To follow legal protocol, you must have a valid number plate attached to your vehicle or motorbike.  However, it is best to follow all of the notable rules and laws regarding plates to avoid being penalized by United Kingdom’s law enforcement.  Be sure to not add extra spacing to the numbers on your revised number plates.  Using a different font is also strongly advised against.  These regulations are clearly explained on the DVLA website so all UK drivers will be in compliance with the correct plate spacing and lettering.  And it is highly suggested that you take into consideration these guidelines advised.
