Getting Settled In
Arts August 29th. 2009, 3:45amWe’re starting to get settled in to the new digs and the new town, finally. Found a good cafe a few blocks from the apartment, and a great pub that has Indie Music on Friday and Saturday nights.
It’s funny how those sorts of things make a difference, but they do. I’m starting to feel like this could be home.
The cafe has free WiFi so I’ve been dropping in there at 7 in the morning to check email and get my brain engaged for the day. Nice people working there too. In fact, everybody in the whole town seems really friendly. Quite a change from DC.
